Exchanging data with spreadsheet and statistics programs...

MS Excel, as well as most other spreadsheet and statistics software, uses TAB-delimited text format when exporting data as text (.TXT) and can easily read data that has been stored in this format by other applications. In this format, table cells are delimited by TAB characters (ASCII 9) and table rows are delimited by CR or LF characters (ASCII 10, 13) or a combination of both. Wintrack uses the TAB-delimited text format to exchange tabular data with other applications, either via the clipboard or as files:

Wintrack is designed for off-line path data analysis and relies on importing raw case data from third party tracking software. To this end, the Open Case Document command automatically recognizes and converts data files from a number of tracking systems:
