How to fill in the dialog box fields...

Fill in the dialog box fields as indicated below. You may also accept presented default values and options. Disregard grayed fields and options. When done, press Ok to continue. Or press Cancel to abort.

Print to
Use this radio button field to select a target device:

  • printer = print to a printer,
  • clipboard = do not send the output to a printer, but instead copy the graph to the clipboard for transfer to other Windows™ applications.

printer, spooler, and port
If you are printing the graph to a printer, use this printer field to specify the device name, spooler name and port name for the desired target printer. This dialog field becomes unavailable if you initiate collection of printed output using the Begin Collecting Output command.

Options
Use this check box field to select one or more options:

  • include header text = print the text of the Header text field centered at the top of the page (ignored when copying the graph on the clipboard),
  • include footer text = print the text of the Footer text field centered at the bottom of the page (ignored when copying the graph on the clipboard),

height [m], width [m]
Use these number fields to indicate the desired maximal dimensions of the graph. The graph will be resized with retained proportions so that it does not exceed the specified limits. On a printer, it will be centered on the page.

header text
If you are printing to a printer, use this text field to specify a header for the page. The text may include spaces. You may use {file} to insert the filename and path, {date} to insert the current date, {time} to insert the current time.

footer text
If you are printing to a printer, use this text field to specify a footer for the page. The text may include spaces. You may use {file} to insert the filename and path, {date} to insert the current date, {time} to insert the current time.
