Save Case Document As command

How to save or export a case document under a new name...

  1. Activate the case document you wish to operate on.
  2. Select Save Case Document As from the File Menu.
  3. A dialog box appears. Press the Help button if you need instructions on how to fill in the dialog box fields. Fill in the fields that are not grayed or accept defaults and press Ok to continue. Or press Cancel to abort.
  4. Wintrack will save or export the active case document to disk.
  5. You use this command to save newly created case documents or to save to a new file the changes that you made to an existing case file. It lets you also export case documents as text or ASBA Wild & Leitz files for later import into other Windows™ or DOS applications.

The Acquire Trial command lets you acquire new path and event data for case documents. If you merely want to update a case file with changes that you made after opening it in Wintrack, you can use the Save Case Document command. New case documents are created using the New Case Document command. Existing case files are opened using the Open Case Document command. You can restrict display of one or several trials in a case document to a specified time window using the Zoom Path command and then convert the time window(s) into separate trials by saving only the trial data within the respective visible time windows.
