Toolbar shortcuts to acquire data

Press this button to acquire path and event data using the computer mouse and place it in an empty trial in the active case document. If you press the Shift key while clicking the button, a dialog is displayed so you can specify options and parameters.

Press this button to acquire path and event data for a series of trials involving several cases. Wintrack expects the topmost open scrollsheet to define in tabular form with one row per trial all details of the trial series to be run. It should have 6 columns named as follows:

  • dir, indicating for every trial the directory and drive where to look for the case document.
  • case, indicating the name of the case for every trial (without extension .WTR).
  • start, indicating the code of the releasing point for every trial (using the same codes as in the Acquire Trial dialog).
  • goal, indicating the code of the goal position for every trial (using the same codes as in the Acquire Trial dialog).
  • run, filled with 0 values which Wintrack will successively replace by 1 as trials are run from top to bottom.
  • setup, indicating for the first trial of every case the custom setup file version to be applied to the case. Specify 1 if you are not using custom setup files.

If no suitable open scrollsheet is found, you will be prompted to open one from disk. If necessary, Wintrack will also create a series of new case documents and prompt you to specify case properties.
