Save Surface Document As command

How to save a surface document under a new name...

  1. Activate the surface document you wish to operate on.
  2. Select Save Surface Document As from the File Menu.
  3. A dialog box appears. Press the Help button if you need instructions on how to fill in the dialog box fields. Fill in the fields that are not grayed or accept defaults and press Ok to continue. Or press Cancel to abort.
  4. Wintrack will save the active surface document to disk.

You use this command to save newly created surface documents or to save to a new file the changes that you made to a surface document file after opening it in Wintrack.

If you merely want to update a surface document file with changes that you made after opening it in Wintrack, you can use the Save Surface Document command. New surface documents are created using the New Surface Document command. Existing surface document files are opened using the Open Surface Document command. The Surface Properties command let's you change the color scheme and the scale of the active surface document.
