Selecting trials with the mouse...

When you manipulate case documents, you can apply actions to the entire document or only to a range of selected trials. Selected trials are displayed with inverted frames. You can select trials using the mouse:

  • Click on a trial to select it and deselect all other trials in the document.
  • Click on a trial while pressing the Ctrl key to toggle the selection state of that trial without affecting the state of the other trials in the document.
  • Click on any trial while pressing the Ctrl and Shift keys to deselect all trials.
  • Click and drag the mouse to select a rectangular range of trials.

Note that...

In Windows™ Explorer, you can associate case documents, surface documents and scrollsheet files with Wintrack (WTR32.EXE) by selecting View > Options > File Types > New Type. This allows you to launch a copy of Wintrack and open a document by double-clicking the corresponding file icon in an open folder or in Windows™ Explorer.

Wintrack also supports loading of case documents, surface documents and scrollsheet files by drag and drop: Select one or more documents in an open folder or in Windows™ Explorer, drag and drop them anywhere within a running Wintrack program window, and select Open from the file drop pop-up menu that appears. With case documents or groups of case documents, you can also use drag and drop for rapid import, printing, filtering, or analysis: just select the respective option from the file drop pop-up menu.
