Transform Path dialog

How to fill in the dialog box fields...

Fill in the dialog box field as indicated below. You may also accept presented default values and options. Disregard grayed fields and options. When done, press Ok to continue. Or press Cancel to abort.

trial range
Use this range field to indicate the range of trials that should be transformed. If you selected a range of trials in the active case document before invoking the command, the field will display that range as default. Caution! Data contained in these trials will be physically altered. Make sure to keep a copy of the original data.

version range
Use this range field to specify a range of range of versions that should be affected. Case documents whose version is not part of that range will remain unaffected by the command.

translation: dX,dY [m]
Use this array field to specify a translation vector. Two numbers are expected in the following order: dX = displacement in x-direction, dY = displacement in y-direction. 0,0 = no translation.

scaling: fX,fY
Use this array field to specify scaling factors. Two numbers are expected in the following order: fX = scaling factor in x-direction, fY = scaling factor in y-direction. The scale is changed relative to the maze center which itself does not change position. 0,0 = no scaling.

rotation [°]
Use this number field to specify an angle for a rotation around the arena center. Positive values lead to clockwise rotation. 0 = no rotation.

corner correction: dX,dY,PtgtX,PtgtY,PnX,PnY,Rn [m]
Use this group of array fields to specify parameters for corner corrections. Seven numbers each are expected in the following order: dx = maximal displacement in x-direction, dY = maximal displacement in y-direction, PtgtX = x-coordinate of target corner point, PtgtY = y-coordinate of target corner point, PnX = x-coordinate of center of neutral zone, PnY = y-coordinate of center of neutral zone, Rn = radius of neutral zone. Points within the neutral zone are not changed. Outside this zone the translation distance increases with the distance from the neutral zone but never exceeds the specified maximum. 0,0,0,0,0,0,0 = no corner correction.

  • NE is to specify the paramters for correction at the North East corner,
  • NW is to specify the paramters for correction at the North West corner,
  • SE is to specify the paramters for correction at the South East corner,
  • SW is to specify the paramters for correction at the South West corner.
